Today's Song of the Day is a masterpiece from an amazing album. Bonnie Raitt scored big when she released "Nick of Time" in 1989. The album was a major success, scoring three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.
"Have A Heart" was the second single released, but did not gain much airplay. After a stellar night at the Grammy Awards, Bonnie started gaining airplay. "Have A Heart" started climbing the charts but stalled at #49 on the Hot 100. The song has an upbeat groove but deals with the pain and neglect of a waning relationship.
It has been some time since I played this brilliant album; it might be calling me.
