I will start by saying this: I am team Debbie. I always have been.
In 1989, Debbie Gibson released this #1 hit from her second album, "Electric Youth." The album hit #1 on the Hot 200. "Lost In Your Eyes" was the first single from the album and spent three weeks at the top spot.
Young singers were not allowed to write their own songs back then, but Debbie broke that mold. She proved her talent by writing this gem and many others. If you don't follow Debbie on social media, you should. She is an uplifting spirit and can put a smile on your face.
