There are songs I like, and then there are songs I LOVE. In 1989, the great Donna Summer was back on the Hot 100 and on the radio (see what I did there). This song is one of my all-time favorite songs. I love all of Donna's music, but for some reason, this song touched my soul back in my senior year of High School. It was the late 80s, and Hair Metal was all the rage, but Donna scored a #7 Hot 100 hit with the Dance-Pop gem.
We lost Donna over 12 years ago, and what a loss to the music world. Donna is a legend, with a huge catalog of hits spanning 20 years. We lost Donna at the young age of 63 to lung cancer. A huge talent gone way too soon.
