It's a great song today!
Few songs encapsulate the essence of 80s synth-pop as perfectly as New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle." Released in 1986 as part of their album Brotherhood, this track stands out for its infectious melody and innovative fusion of electronic and rock elements.
This has always been one of my favorite 80s New Wave tunes. I am amazed at how many edits there are of this song. I have played a different version on almost every radio station I worked at, but the Substance version is the one I love. This song only charted in 1995 at #98 thanks in part to its use on the Soundtrack for the movie Threesome. To hear that version, check out The Variety Station. WE PLAY IT ALL!
